As Lead Solutions Architect, you'll work directly with OP Chain operators to build the next wave of the Superchain. Your strong foundation in engineering will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and strategic business solutions, working with teams to provision, launch, and operate their chains.

What are the role responsibilities?

  • Collaborate with partners and their engineering teams to provision, operate, and scale new chains into successful ecosystems. First and foremost ensure they feel actively supported in their success.
  • Apply an engineering mindset and deep understanding of OP products to solve complex problems, optimize system architectures, and ensure technical excellence across projects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest blockchain technologies and trends, evaluating and integrating them into our solutions where appropriate — especially when our customers have started incorporating it into their own protocols.
  • Build reference implementations and best practices that can be shared across the Superchain community.
  • Using OP Stack and ecosystems across the superchain, design and develop solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with Security, Eng and Product teams to develop custom migration paths for large customers.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Solutions Engineers and Architects, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
  • Work closely with Security, Eng and Product to propose new technical solutions that solve customers’ needs — even before they ask for them. Relay feedback and recommend improvements to OP Stack.

What skills do you bring?

  • 5+ years as a Solutions Architect, support engineer, or other customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong practical experience in blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, consensus algorithms, knowledge of distributed systems, and operating a node.
  • Experience leading a Solutions team that hits their targets and build long-lasting systems with customers.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and architectural patterns, with the ability to apply these in designing scalable blockchain solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding and mentoring technical teams.
  • Tremendous communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a broad audience.
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages used in blockchain development, such as Solidity, Go, Rust, and Python.
  • Preferred experience designing and shipping a customer-facing technical certification program.
