At RociFi we are building a new multi-chain DeFi primitive for zero and under-collateralized lending. At its core, the protocol leverages on-chain data, Machine Learning, and loan risk-management to effectively and profitably facilitate under-collateralized loans via blockchain.
We are looking to find an experienced Senior Solidity Engineer to join our existing smart contracts team of 3 experienced engineers. You’ll be working with advanced smart contracts, working on new features for the protocol and creating new technical DeFi primitives.
Tasks
- Participate in technical specification design, technical roadmap, and implementation of the RociFI Protocol
- Produce high quality, performant, and well-tested Solidity code
- Achieve comprehensive unit and integration test coverage
- Write specs and review PRs
- Work closely with Product owners and CTO on design and ideation of new features
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in Solidity development
- Proven experience of previously deployed projects to Mainnet which managed 100.000 USD worth of liquidity or more
- 3+ years in general software engineering
- Strong understanding of Cryptoeconomics, token standards, major protocols and primitives (loans, AMM, DEX)
- Understanding security in smart contract design
- Understanding the blockchain data structures (Merkle tree, Patricia tree, etc.)
- Fluency in Python or Node.js
- Background in security engineering and/or SRE/DevOps is a plus
Bonus
- Experience working with yield accruing tokens/protocols
- Experience working with sidechains (Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum)
- Familiarity with standard DevOps tooling
- Familiarity with low-level EVM concepts
- Ready to accept payment in USDC
Benefits
- Unique chance to work in the ground-breaking company that is working to define one of the key Web 3.0 primitives
- Building the most important parts of the modern DeFi infrastructure
- Flexible working hours
What does a solidity developer do?
A Solidity developer is a programmer who specializes in writing smart contracts using the Solidity programming language
Solidity is a contract-oriented, high-level language for implementing smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum
The responsibilities of a Solidity developer can vary depending on the specific project they are working on, but some common tasks they might be responsible for include:
- Writing and testing Solidity code for smart contracts, Debugging and troubleshooting issues with existing smart contracts
- Collaborating with other members of the development team to ensure that the contracts are implemented according to the project's specifications
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the Solidity and blockchain communities, and incorporating new best practices and techniques into their work
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of coding standards and guidelines for the project.
