About Pulse

We’re on a mission to break the health data oligarchy by empowering humanity to take control of their health data. Pulse turns vitals into value by aggregating health data and allowing users to share it with third parties in return for rewards. We’re building a DePin network powered by our native wearable device The Pulse One.

Our team is venture-backed by leading investors such as Collab+Currency, Lemniscap, Delphi Ventures, and Lattice Fund.

Check out our mission at Pulse Website and follow us on Twitter.

About The Role

Pulse is looking for a Blockchain Engineer to help build the foundation of our next-generation wearable technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing secure, scalable smart contracts that power our ecosystem. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of consumer tech and Web3, shaping how digital assets and decentralized applications integrate with wearable devices.

You'll be joining a high-growth, fast-moving team where your expertise in blockchain development will directly influence Pulse’s future. If you’re passionate about building in Web3, optimizing smart contracts, and pushing the boundaries of blockchain-enabled consumer products, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on Solana + EVM chains.

  • Ensure contract security through rigorous testing and audits.

  • Build and maintain backend services to support blockchain interactions, including off-chain data storage, API endpoints, and database management.

  • Architect and integrate blockchain functionality with Pulse’s wearable tech (storage, MPC, zkproofs etc)

  • Develop APIs and real-time data pipelines that aggregate, process, and expose health data while maintaining strict privacy and security protocols.

  • Implement authentication and access control systems, ensuring secure interactions between users, wearables, and third-party integrations.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align blockchain and backend features with the user experience.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, security threats, and new developments in Web3 and backend infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience developing smart contracts in Solidity, with a strong understanding of Solana and EVM.

  • Experience building and maintaining backend systems, including API development (REST, GraphQL) and real-time data processing.

  • Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL, decentralized storage solutions like Arweave/Filecoin).

  • Familiarity with Anchor, Web3.js, Ethers.js, and blockchain APIs.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of projects.

  • Passion for consumer tech, backend scalability, and integrating blockchain with real-world applications.

Why Join Pulse?

🚀 Work with a high-energy team shaping the future of wearable tech
🌎 Global reach with an opportunity to impact audiences in NA & Europe
🔥 A fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment
