Monad Labs is a contributor to the Monad blockchain, an ultra-high-performance EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain designed to bring world adoption to decentralized apps. We help the EVM scale through parallel execution and other significant innovations in distributed consensus and smart contract execution. The Role

The Ecosystem Growth team accelerates the growth of the Monad ecosystem by supporting new teams who are building ambitious products on Monad. You’ll manage initiatives like hackathons and funding opportunities that bring together Monad ecosystem builders. You’ll support early-stage builders across verticals (DeFi, gaming, NFTs, etc), collaborating with DevRel, Marketing, and Operations, to help early-stage builders become thriving ecosystem projects.

You will need to be strategic in identifying what initiatives to prioritize, and scrappy in executing within a lean team. You’ll need to be both creative and data-driven. We are looking for someone who loves crypto, is creative, is ambitious, is organized, and has substantial experience with L1/L2 ecosystem development.

This role is crucial to Monad’s success, and will ultimately have a massive impact on helping Monad and crypto achieve mass adoption.

Requirements

Required:

• You have two or more years of experience in ecosystem growth at an L1/L2 blockchain, or similar (e.g. portfolio support at a venture firm)
• You are passionate about crypto
• You are a doer
• You are independent; you thrive on a high level of autonomy, responsibility, and ownership
• You are organized
• You are entrepreneurial
• You are an excellent speaker and writer

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll develop and execute new initiatives that grow the Monad ecosystem
• You’ll manage initiatives like grants programs and hackathons that bring builders to Monad and encourage them to compose with other Monad ecosystem apps
• You’ll collaborate with the DevRel, Marketing, Operations, and Recruiting teams to help Monad ecosystem projects grow to their full potential
• You’ll create an internal playbook for supporting ecosystem projects
• You’ll collaborate with a range of counterparties—builders, investors, exchanges, infrastructure providers—to promote the growth of the Monad ecosystem

Salary and benefits

Minimum full-time salary of $125,000 - $175,000. (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
