Position Overview
We are hiring a Head of Ecosystem to join the team and have a direct impact while partnering with our exec team. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, project managing integrations, and spearheading initiatives to enhance the overall ecosystem experience for our users. This role requires a deep understanding of DeFi, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the decentralized finance space.
Please note this role is onsite in one of our office locations (Grand Cayman, Denver, Toronto).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives to expand and diversify the Ether.fi ecosystem by integrating new protocols, products, and services. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, staying abreast of emerging trends and developments in the DeFi landscape
- Work closely with product teams to gather user feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize enhancements to optimize the user experience within the Ether.fi ecosystem. Champion user-centric design principles and ensure that our products and services meet the evolving needs of our users
- Serve as a thought leader and advocate for decentralized finance, representing Ether.fi in industry forums, conferences, and media appearances. Contribute insights and expertise to shape the direction of the DeFi ecosystem and drive thought leadership initiatives to position Ether.fi as a pioneer in the space
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years hands on experience in a strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem development role within the blockchain or fintech industry
- Deep understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts, protocols, and trends
- Proven track record of building and nurturing strategic partnerships, driving ecosystem growth, and fostering community engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and making a positive impact in the decentralized finance space
