YOUR PURPOSE

Coin Metrics is recruiting an IT Support Specialist. Our IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to Coin Metrics associates related to both our end user hardware and software.

  • Providing software support to end-users
  • Creating and monitoring an employee technical issue reporting system and quickly resolving logged issues
  • Procuring and building new laptops for incoming associates
  • Developing and executing on a program for hardware replacement at end-of-life
  • Training end-users on hardware and software programs
  • Creating systems for monitoring hardware and software performance and access
  • Monitoring hardware and software performance and access
  • Ensuring computer software is upgraded as appropriate
  • Providing systems access in accordance with prescribed job roles and access policies
  • Consulting with hiring managers and risk management as required
  • Evaluating software options (e.g., for VPN) and recommending CM software standards
  • Providing day-to-day technical support at the Boston HQ w/r/t video conferencing and networking issues
  • Maintaining relationships with end-user software vendors

YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with both apple, PC and Linux operating systems
