Responsibilities

  • Work with our clients and team to ensure proper identification of entity, bank details, payment type, etc.
  • Generate and handle reports and other records that ensure proper payments and statements
  • Coordinate with internal departments over purchase orders, changes in agreements, and handling settlements
  • Provide insight and development to create proficient and up to date internal payment systems
  • Report department monthly/quarter metrics and all outstanding liabilities
  • We are looking for the right person; you may have college experience, and/or six months to a year of relevant experience
  • Someone who is very comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, and payment software
  • Someone with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • experience in customer relations/account management (preferably in a SAS company) is a plus
  • We'd be extremely excited to meet anyone with previous Accounts Payable or Payroll Processing experience

What does an account manager do?

Account managers are responsible for managing relationships with specific clients or customer accounts

Their primary role is to ensure that their clients are satisfied with the products or services they are receiving, and to identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise

In order to effectively manage their accounts, account managers typically perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and goals
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet those needs
  • Handling any problems or issues that arise, and working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients
  • Monitoring the performance of the account and making recommendations for improvement
  • Upselling and cross-selling products or services to clients
  • Providing regular reports to clients on the status of their accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
