The Company

Swan Mining has demonstrated its ability to rapidly develop and deploy industrial-scale mining operations globally, now operating over 7.5 EH with contracts to build out to 19.5 EH this year and target 100 EH by 2026 with our managed mining services.
The Role
Swan Bitcoin is looking for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance team. We’re looking for a Bitcoiner with 2-7 years of experience as an Accountant or Auditor. This position will be reporting to the Controller. Title/level based on experience.
Your responsibilities
Assisting in all basic accounting functions including:
- Fixed assets
- Revenue
- Accounts payable
- Expense reimbursements
- General ledger management
- Account reconciliations
- Monthly close
- Prepare key controls
- Work with external auditors on the quarterly and annual financial audits and SOX compliance testing
- Lead/participate in special projects as needed
- General company administration duties
Skills and experience that will help you succeed
- Familiar with working in accounting systems (NetSuite, Ramp, Google Sheets / Docs, online banking, Excel etc.)
- Loves debits and credits
- Organizational skills and incredible attention to detail
- Works well independently
- Takes ownership of responsibilities
- Flexible with working hours
- Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
