Your mission

As a Commercial Accounting Specialist, you will be an integral part of an expert team that manages the day-to-day accounting activities for our core business model. In this role, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting activities in a fast-moving fintech environment where you'll have ownership for managing all relevant accounting transactions and contribute to interesting project work related. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and use your financial expertise to provide solutions that meet their needs.

What you’ll do

• Independently assess complex transactions and reflect them accordingly in our books
• Oversee and control all wallet-related transactions in our books (fiat and crypto-related topics)
• Key contributor ensuring timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
• Seek for process improvements / automation in terms of efficiency in all Financial Data areas
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Who you are

• Proven experience working as an Accountant or related role in the fintech industry
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial data analysis
• Strong IFRS knowledge - Austrian GAAP is a plus
• Data background and knowledge about SQL, Tableau and Snowflake is preferable but not essential
• Excellent communication, presentation and strong problem-solving skills - excellent English skills, fluency in German is an advantage
