CREAM has a portfolio of investments and projects that need additional attention... this is where you come in. We are looking for an experienced accountant to own the books of our projects. In addition, the senior accountant will work closely with our CEO in strategizing and optimizing business operations

Responsibilities
The senior accountant’s work will encompass some or all of the following responsibilities:
● Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; and oversee all financial, project, program and grants accounting
● Serve as main point of contact with CREAM’s internal and external accountants
● Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors
● Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with CREAM’s leadership; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes; and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status
● Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
● Oversee grant management and financial management/reporting system; work with operations team to ensure all payments reach grantees and vendors in a timely manner; serve as Foundation’s approver for all financial transactions
● Create, update and implement all necessary policies and procedures around the organizations financial operations
● Effectively communicate and present any critical financial matters to the organizations C-suite

Qualifications
● 2+ years of relevant work experience, CPA
● Experience with digital/Crypto assets (NFT, Crypto) within accounting principles such as ASC946 and ASC610
● Superior accounting, finance and related technical skills, knowledge of accounting software
● Strong analytical and quantitative skills
● Demonstrated track record of effective project management
● Strong communication skills applicable to inter-team and partner/vendor management

● Strong sense of urgency, high detail orientation, emphasis on accuracy and strong analytical abilities
● Highly proficient in Excel (dynamic financial modeling) and PowerPoint
● Ability to learn new technical systems and platforms
