At roci.fi we are building a new multi-chain DeFi primitive for zero and under-collateralized lending. At its core, the protocol leverages on-chain data, Machine Learning, and loan risk-management to effectively and profitably facilitate under-collateralized loans via blockchain.
We are looking for a backend developer who has crypto ecosystem experience and knowledge about data APIs in DeFi world.
You will help to crawl, scrape and analyze data from relevant data sources and create best-of-class data applications helping business stakeholders at RociFi make strategic decisions through data and insights.
You will work with services like Bitquery and data sources from protocols like Aave/Compound/Synthetix, keeping up to date about new DeFi projects and social media APIs for Twitter/Discord.
- Strong knowledge of backend languages (Python, Node.js) and frameworks (e.g. Flask, FastAPI or Express).
- Solid relational and NoSQL database skills (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Strong understanding of REST API design
- Experience with Git and Github flow
- Open to receiving salary in stable coins (USDT or USDC)
- Unique chance to work in the ground-breaking company that is working to define one of the key Web 3.0 primitives
- Building the most important parts of the modern DeFi infrastructure
- Flexible working hours
What does a back-end developer in Web3 do?
A back-end developer in web3 typically works on the server-side of a web application, using technologies that are specific to the decentralized web (also known as Web3-related)
This might involve building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports decentralized applications (dApps), or developing the underlying smart contracts and blockchain-based systems that power those dApps
In general, the goal of a back-end developer in web3 is to create the technologies and tools that enable users to interact with the decentralized web in a secure and seamless way.
