Libre is focused on the design and development of a blockchain-based protocol to eliminate inefficiencies in legal, financial and operational workflows for private markets. Going beyond the simple concept of tokenisation and enabling seamless access to private markets directly on-chain, regardless of the end-user platform and/or public network where the user is based

Libre’s product focus is to tokenise the funds on a blockchain infrastructure and enable future composability of the digital security assets with other institutional on-chain services e.g., collateralised lending and secondary trading.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Solidity Developer to join our team, working on cutting-edge projects. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain-based solutions that ensure stability, security, and scalability for our real-world asset tokenisation ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of blockchain and financial technology, contributing to the future of tokenised assets.

What you are good at:

• Write and review high assurance code, tests, invariants and other deliverables for our protocol projects using industry best-practices
• Design, implement, and deploy secure and efficient Solidity-based smart contracts for Libre’s protocol
• Emphasis on robust process, continuous learning and ownership including collaborating with external audit firms as needed
• Contribute and evolve our internal methodologies, coding standards, review methods and other standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoot and optimize smart contracts while staying current with blockchain trends and advancements
• Contribute to our cross-chain capabilities by building robust integrations and maintaining multichain compatibility
• Closely collaborate with members across various teams
• Stay updated on the latest developments in blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and trends in digital asset management

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in solidity development, with a proven track record of deployed contracts on mainnet
• Strong knowledge of EVM
• Extensive experience in developing complex smart contracts. Familiar with tooling such as Foundry, Hardhat or Remix
• Understanding of the DeFi landscape, such as lending protocols, AMMs, Perps and stablecoins
• Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and connect with clients, partners and other third parties
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multichain environments and integrating across diverse blockchain ecosystems
• Knowledge and experience with real-world assets (RWAs)
• Public GitHub contributions to high-quality projects in the Ethereum or broader Web3 space
• Experience in developing off-chain applications that integrate with web3 protocols, using libraries such as Web3.js and ethers.js
• Knowledge in Traditional Finance, and the intersection between traditional finance and blockchain, such as Tokenisation
