About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Risk Strategy to join the Enterprise Risk Team to build and scale an effective global risk management program. We’re looking for a an experienced risk management professional with technology and digital asset expertise. You will join OKX's Enterprise Risk team and partner with colleagues across Compliance, Legal, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Product, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program, focusing on risk assessments, internal controls, and effective reporting to Board and management committees. You will report to OKX' Group Head of Enterprise Risk.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Design and implement strategic risk programs aligned with key regulatory deadlines for license applications and ongoing compliance; while anticipating and proactively addressing emerging regulatory requirements and industry trends.

Develop and execute a robust enterprise-wide risk assessment program that comprehensively assesses strategic, operational, financial, third-party, and digital asset-specific risks; ensuring that risk management is embedded across all business units and functions within the organization.

Establish a clear and effective Risk Appetite Framework at both the group and local levels, defining key risk indicators (KRIs) and tolerance limits.

Facilitate risk-reward decision-making at all levels of the organization, from the Board of Directors to individual business units.

Define and implement standardized risk reporting across the company.

Develop visually compelling risk reports that communicate complex information clearly and concisely to the Board of Directors, senior management, and other relevant stakeholders.

Partner with compliance, security, finance, product, engineering, and other teams to integrate risk management principles into daily operations and strategic initiatives.

Stay abreast of emerging trends and regulations in the digital asset space, proactively identifying and addressing new risk considerations.

What We Look For In You

10+ years of experience in risk management and strategic consulting, preferably with a focus on financial services.

Proven experience in project management, conducting risk assessments, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.

Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor reporting to different audiences.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.

Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in / knowledge of the digital asset space (cryptocurrency, blockchain) is highly desirable.

Experience with GRC systems on a global scale is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $250,000

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
