WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Perena is building the yield standard on Solana — but a category leader is built campaign by campaign, not vibe by vibe. We need someone who treats marketing like a growth function: launches that move TVL, email programs that compound, community ops that produce measurable signal. The narrative matters, and you'll be measured on what converts.

Today, two junior team members run social and community without a strategic owner. You step in as that owner: setting direction, running campaigns, and building marketing into a real function as we scale.

THE FIRST 90 DAYS

1. A market thesis, written and shared. What's actually resonating now: vaults, stablecoin yield, RWAs, points, something else? Where does Perena fit, and how does that translate into a narrative we use everywhere?

2. Channel marketing live and segmented. Onboarding flow, re-engagement sequence, Purple (VIP user) flow with weekly reporting on deposits attributable to channel source.

3. Campaign calendar tied to product launches and partner integrations. Every campaign has a deposit target.

4. Community ops running on rails without CEO involvement. Town hall scheduled, promoted, and recapped on cadence. Social and community team members have weekly goals, scorecards, and report to you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Campaigns & growth ops

• Plan and execute growth campaigns tied to product launches, partner integrations, and market moments

• Build the measurement stack: what's moving TVL, what's noise, what's the ROI per channel

• Brief and direct co-marketing with BD on partner integrations

• Drive communication with users via town halls and written updates

• Turn our ambassador program from spec into a real acquisition and referral channel with attributable numbers

Brand & narrative

• Develop and own Perena's market thesis

• Edit and direct content output across channels; write the high-stakes pieces yourself

Team

• Manage and develop the social and community team members; set their goals, run their reviews

WHO YOU ARE

• 3–5+ years in marketing, with meaningful time owning campaigns or growth in DeFi, fintech, or another high-velocity vertical

• You've owned a number. You can talk about deposit-driven funnels, email attribution, or campaign ROI without hand-waving

• You understand blockchain-based finance. You have a point of view on what's working in the market right now and why

• Strong writer and storyteller who understands the nuances of difference channels and audiences

• You operate well with a CEO who is direct and wants a thought partner, not a marketer who needs a brief for everything

Earlier in your career? Apply anyway if you can show real campaign ownership, sharp writing, and a clear point of view on the market.

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING

• base + meaningful equity, scaled to experience

• Real ownership of a function during the most defining stretch of company growth

• Remote-first, flexible working hours
