We are a team to design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects, i.e., projects that are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped fast with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Job Summary
- The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying defects and improving test processes.
- The Senior QA Engineer will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to drive quality assurance best practices and support continuous integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks for functional, and regression testing.
- Lead testing efforts for complex features and critical product components, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define clear quality criteria and testing requirements.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create effective test strategies and plans.
- Identify, report, and track defects using test management tools, advocating for timely resolution with the development team.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements within the QA team.
- Stay updated on emerging QA technologies, tools, and trends, incorporating best practices into testing processes.
- Communicate test results, risks, and quality status clearly to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with significant exposure to multiple testing methodologies.
- Strong expertise in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Python, Java).
- Experience with API testing (REST, WebSocket) and understanding of blockchain or fintech environments is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of agile development processes, CI/CD workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to thrive in an English-speaking, collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt and utilize AI-powered tools to improve work efficiency, with a continuous learning mindset and interest in emerging AI technologies.
