soonami is seeking a Web3 Sponsorships and BD Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Marketing and Sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive our company's growth and success in the Web3 space.

Tasks

  • Research and identify potential sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships within the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain projects, decentralized applications (dApps), NFT platforms, crypto exchanges, and other relevant entities.
  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities for our regular soonami Venturethons, our signature program aimed at fostering entrepreneurship within the Web3 community.
  • Assist in organizing and executing third-party hackathons hosted on our software platform, including identifying potential partners, negotiating collaboration deals, and managing relationships with event organizers and participants.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote Venturethons and third-party hackathons, leveraging social media, email marketing, and other channels to drive participation and engagement.
  • Evaluate the success of sponsorship and partnership initiatives, collecting feedback from sponsors, partners, and participants to identify areas for improvement and optimize future events and collaborations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, and product development, to align partnership strategies with company objectives and ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Web3 and the blockchain ecosystem
  • Track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Existing network within the Web3 community.
  • Familiarity with all comms channels used in Web3 such as telegram, crypto X, Discord, etc
