About the role:
As an Infrastructure Engineer (Intern), you will play an important role in building out, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You’ll be joining a team of engineers utilizing leading edge technology while delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
We're currently looking for Summer and Fall 2022 Interns to join our Infrastructure team!
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Having a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through BitGo as a whole. From onboarding you on to our tech stack to teaching you about the crypto domain, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact- all while showing you what it means to be at BitGo!
- Implementing changes to infrastructure and support deployment responsibilities (automation, scripting, workflow)
- Support operational monitoring and alerting while maintaining our microservices stack on Kubernetes and AWS
- Partnering with various cross-functional teams to solve critical problems across the BitGo organization and product
About You:
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2023
- Strong CS Fundamentals and exposure to cloud technologies
Bonus Points:
- Prior infrastructure engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other side projects utilizing AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience working with containers and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Python, Golang, Javascript, and Bash
- Experience with Data Pipelines, ETL Pipelines and CI/CD Pipelines
- Passion and interest for Crypto and Blockchain
