Social Media & PR/Community Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and implement social media marketing and community engagement in the Greater China/APAC area
- Analyze social media landscape to supply actionable insight (in real-time) to both the social and greater marketing team with hot topics, breaking news, sentiment/market observations
- Analyze daily sentiment on social media and leverage PR response & community content to affect it
- Develop strategies for social and community related content, social-led campaigns and social content frameworks across the region, working cross-functionally with PR, community, product and other related teams
- Perform PR/community crisis management for Mandarin communities
- Engage and build communities through one-on-one as well as one-to-many conversations, especially networking with KOLs in the Greater China/APAC area
- Own and operate multiple official social media and signal channels, as well as the content strategy/output and results for each, especially in negative sentiment
- Streamline social media accounts to ensure uniform content and tone of voice
- Source and manage influencers/KOLs to help drive engagement and brand awareness, as well as community & PR crisis management
- Planning and executing AMAs, as well as managing network relations with programs, VCs, guests, KOLs, etc.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required for team communication
- Chinese language is essential for communication with Mandarin speaking communities
