Job Description

At Cash App, over 40 million customers send and receive money from friends, family and businesses in their communities each month. As our network has scaled, we're looking for leaders to join our Community product team and build new ways for individuals and groups to form meaningful financial relationships. These connections build the network effects at the heart of our product, strategy and business. Our team is responsible for Cash App's core P2P (peer-to-peer) network and new product areas designed to grow our network by making money instant and relatable.

You Will

In this role you will be a core member of the Community product team, helping us craft the vision and experiences for multiple areas of our roadmap.

  • Define the strategy, goals and roadmap for our peer-to-peer payments product and related feature areas
  • Own features from exploration through launch; get your hands dirty on a day-to-day level and building for the long-term
  • Build unique features that weave into the rest of the Cash App product ecosystem
  • Partner with design, engineering and other disciplines to build diverse team(s) to accomplish our business goals
You Have

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of product management or equivalent experience
  • A humble and scrappy get-it-done mindset; you’re resourceful and in your element going from 0 to 1
  • Strong customer empathy and the ability to leverage design as a superpower
  • Analytical chops; a deep understanding of network effects and how to reinforce them in product
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects that span engineering and product disciplines
  • Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $202,500 - USD $247,500

Zone B: USD $192,400 - USD $235,200

Zone C: USD $182,300 - USD $222,800

Zone D: USD $172,200 - USD $210,400

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a commission plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.   • Organizing and hosting events and meetups to bring community members together and foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure that the community's needs and feedback are being taken into account in the design and development of the technology
  • Providing regular updates and information to the community about the progress and status of the technology
  • Dentifying and addressing any issues or conflicts within the community, and working to resolve them in a positive and constructive manner.
