What you will do at RECUR
- Create THE best in class approach to community engagement in Discord and make RECUR brands forever unique with their own feel & quirks, different from anything else out there
- Be the primary voice engaging with RECUR's rapidly growing community in the Discord server, setting the tone for the team and server, and ensuring maximum engagement & delight by all members of the community
- Partner with Marketing, Gaming, and other cross-functional teams to create and implement engagement programming for games, contests, giveaways, events, etc.
- Maintain a pulse on the community, checking in and engaging with them on a daily basis
- Ensure the team is consistently set up for success by owning and maintaining process documentation, policies, and new hire training
- Actively manage community platforms and partner with Support to ensure users get answers to their technical and non-technical questions
- Field escalations from Community Managers and Community Moderators to provide mentorship and make sound decisions in the interest of the community and the company
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across all RECUR products
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across Community Management industry-wide, including platforms, best practices, trends, scams, and cutting edge developments
- Think creatively about how to engage our community beyond Discord
- Figure out how to create and maximize our Discord channel strategy and structure, bot commands, and administration

What you will bring to RECUR
- 4+ years of experience as a Community Manager or Senior Community Manager
- Extreme passion for and experience engaging in the crypto/NFT community
- Strong track record of success growing online communities from scratch, measured against monthly and quarterly goals
- Experience creating content on Discord
- Experience with other social platforms including Twitter, Reddit, Medium, Substack, Instagram, Youtube and Podcasting
- Experience creating process documentation and training materials that are clear and digestible
- Startup mentality and willingness to work on nights and weekends according to business needs
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong, concise, and relatable written and verbal communication skills
- Full of wit, creativity, and ideas
- Ability to think on your feet, make decisions quickly, and apply sound judgment and decision making skills
- Ability to control narratives, de-escalate frustrated users, and influence user sentiment

This is a completely remote role and can work anywhere in the EMEA Region.
