Summary:

To Join our Trade support Team for a fixed term. You will be based in Jersey where you will contribute to the trading, execution and settlement requirements of the Jersey office whilst working closely with the cryptocurrency Execution Team.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Jersey Execution Team

Perform detailed trade, position and valuation reconciliations across the OTC business

Support the Execution Trading team on order flow

Understand and analyse business needs in order to continually identify areas for process improvement

Adopt, integrate and promote new technology as it becomes available

Maintain a pulse on the sentiment, trading activity and provide feedback from stakeholders and marketplace and keep relevant internal teams informed

To maintain a detailed knowledge of all relevant systems, keep abreast of changes to such systems and undertake training as and when required

Adhere to the relevant regulator’s requirements including the requirement to complete CPD on a regular ongoing basis

Keep abreast of, and up to date with, regulatory changes, current market practice and internal procedures to ensure that all dealings on behalf of stakeholders are in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations

To participate in and contribute to Team meetings as required

Meet and communicate with colleagues in other departments to help enhance our processes and procedures, particularly relating to the trade lifecycle

To carry out tasks as instructed by internal departments in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the rules of any applicable regulatory authority

Qualifications/Knowledge:

  • Complete or part complete undergraduate education in mathematics, economics, accounting or other quantitative major
  • A foundation knowledge of securities and markets
  • Basic knowledge of trading (Desirable)
  • Excel, Google Workspace
  • An understanding of and compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
  • Motivation to succeed and deliver results in line with expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong emotional intelligence

This role is an unpaid internship between 6 - 12 months. It is an office based role in our Jersey office. You must have the right to live and work in the Jersey to apply for this internship. No sponsorship is offered for this role.
