Kava Labs is hiring a remote Full stack Sourcer who will be responsible for prospecting potential candidates for job openings across all of Kava’s departments. This is a US-based, full-time, remote position. We are a 100% distributed workforce with teams in the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. While distributed, you will work alongside a team of world class crypto experts on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.

What You Will Do.

  • Sourcing. Build a strong pipeline of candidates through traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels for open roles across all of Kava’s departments. Pre-qualify candidate criteria through prospecting and resume review.
  • Application Review. Build a strong understanding of the job requirements of each open req, and match them with resumes of potential candidates. Utilize Greenhouse (ATS) to update recruiters on pre-qualified candidates at the application review stage and help coordinate next steps.
  • Partnering with Recruiters. Collaborate closely with recruiters to continually improve your sourcing approaches and metrics, quality of candidates in our pipeline, and ensure the seamless handoff of candidates to our recruiters.
  • Systems Maintenance. Assist recruiting operations in managing and maintaining data integrity of our ATS and sourcing tools: review applicants, update candidate data, and help coordinate interviews.
  • Execute Positive Candidate Experiences. Develop relationships with candidates as our first point of contact and guide them through the interview process with professionalism, empathy, and transparency. Ensure a quality handoff to recruiters and assist in scheduling interviews.

Who You Are.

  • Highly effective, engaged, organized, and data-driven.
  • You exhibit a high level of autonomy in ambiguous environments and are comfortable establishing and executing upon priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working in a high-stakes, high-growth, roll up your sleeves type of work and fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt and adjust in a fast-paced changing digital environment is a must.
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.

How You Will Succeed.

  • 1+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience.
  • 1+ years experience utilizing an ATS or sourcing tool
  • Experience with Greenhouse and/or Interseller is a plus!
  • Exercises creativity and possess the ability to adapt sourcing strategies in a niche space
  • Passionate about recruiting and people team initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in Crypto/Defi space
  • Commitment to values of diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • People Team Leader interview - 45 minutes
