Mission: We are hiring a Finance & Operations Lead to ensure Omni’s operational systems scale smoothly as we grow our organization. Responsibilities:
tax payments and compliance: ensure timely federal, state, and local tax submissions. financial projections: calculate monthly burn and create runway projections for the team. 1099 preparation and filing: manage contractor w-9 collection, reconcile fiat/crypto payments, and coordinate filings with external accountants. reconcile fiat and crypto transactions: oversee banking and crypto transaction record keeping; resolve discrepancies; and maintain accurate financial records. vendor and contractor management: request missing invoices, streamline submission workflows, and troubleshoot payment issues. monthly expense reporting: collect all expenses from each month and share with CEO. system and process optimization: manage tools like xero and coinbase, improve operational workflows, and implement automation where possible. investor and team token vesting: set up infrastructure for investor and team token vesting schedules. asset distribution: handle distribution of investor assets when vesting cliffs are reached. market maker relationships: negotiate and onboard new market makers. team travel: coordinate trips end to end, including team offsites and conference travel.
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in operations, finance, or accounting roles; experience in crypto is strongly preferred proficiency with financial tools like xero, brex, and mercury; familiarity with crypto platforms (e.g., coinbase) exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks at once strong problem-solving skills, particularly in reconciling complex transactions across fiat and crypto systems excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external teams
