You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreements and related documentation to support our expanding derivatives business. Key Responsibilities
Lead the negotiation and execution of complex ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, and Credit Support Annexes. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across legal, credit, risk, trading, and operations to deliver seamless transaction execution. Conduct due diligence, manage documentation workflows, and maintain high-quality data and reporting. Ensure compliance with the companyâs regulatory requirements concerning documents being negotiated. Influence internal strategy to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 5+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm or financial services firm supporting the negotiation of derivatives documentation. Experience in reviewing legal opinions, netting opinions, and collateral opinions, and staying up-to-date with existing and upcoming regulations. Strong understanding of ISDA terms, credit agreements, and account control agreements.
The base pay for this role is expected to be between $162,000 and $219,000 in the New York City area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
