The role

We are looking for an ambitious Head of Blockchain Engineering to lead the growth and development within the Kosen Labs Blockchain Engineering team. As a Head of Blockchain Engineering you will architect and build secure smart contract protocols and backend services to connect users with the Kosen ML ecosystem. The work will initially focus on the major DeFi protocols, primarily different AMMs and derivative protocols. You will also mentor and train junior team members on smart contract best practices, and your responsibilities might also involve hiring new team members and further building out the engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

Working independently on software development tasks;
Reviewing specifications produced by architects and protocol directors;
Contributing to the design of algorithms;
Writing clean, straightforward, efficient code that satisfies acceptance criteria and specifications;
Committing and submitting frequently small pull requests;
Fixing bugs in your own code and in legacy code from others;
Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software;
Writing documentation for the code.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

General knowledge of blockchain technology;
Proven 5+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering;
At least 2-3 years of Solidity development experience;
Good knowledge of Solidity development frameworks like Truffle, Ganache, Tenderly, Hardhat;
Understanding of server-side programming using Geth;
Experience with Open Zeppelin libraries;
Experience using TDD methodologies;
Basic financial knowledge;
Strong numerical skills and knowledge of safe math;
Strong sense of security;
Solid knowledge of blockchain exploits.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Solidity security testing tools like Slither, Mythril;
Experience with DeFi protocols;
Quant finance background;
Basic understanding of machine learning technology.
