The position will lead key financial and operational systems initiatives and work cross functionally to facilitate growth of Aptos wide planning processes in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Head of Finance and partnering closely with Accounting, the ideal candidate for this role will possess strong knowledge of Corporate Finance concepts and communication skills. This will be a highly visible role that will interact with the Company's leadership team and drive Aptos wide projects including development of budget & forecast cycles, multi-years planning, full P&L management, creating annual operating plans, weekly reviews of financial performance, headcount planning and system implementation and automation. What you'll be doing:

Own recurring FP&A processes, including forecasting, scenario planning and internal reporting Synthesize and distill key financial and business insights for leadership by analyzing results, business KPIs, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks and opportunities Identifying business issues that may have accounting and financial implications and communicate and involve the appropriate corporate function Performing financial statement analysis, review and comparison of P&L to operating plans and forecasts Developing financial forecasts, monitors financial health, and monitoring guardrails around financial commitments Presents financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders

Directly working with management in business and financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, including the annual plan and the long range plan Partner with accounting for preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Working directly with senior management and business partners in conducting constructive assessment of financial results and providing guidance and direction on operations from a finance perspective Drive continual process improvement to leverage best practices, standardization, and automation to continuously improve availability, accuracy, and clarity of financial and operational data Design and build the financial infrastructure to automate and support the growth of our business and operations Partner with Accounting identify ERP and Financial Planning tool

Execute strategies, operations, policies and budgets relating to treasury activities

Leading the treasury function, including meeting short and long-term funding needs through robust cash and token forecasting

Providing strategic financial input and assisting on decision making issues affecting the organization Assisting with special projects as assigned

  What we're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting, and/or Finance emphasis and/or equivalent combination of education and experience; CPA or MBA preferred 10-12 years of experience in finance, accounting, and treasury SaaS/startup experience required Crypto/Web3 experience required  Exceptional problem-solving skills Exceptional powerpoint and financial modeling skills Effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to keep an open and objective view Ability to listen empathetically and be respectful at all times Ability to maintain composure and stay focused Ability to maintain personal integrity Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

  The base salary range for this full-time position is $197k-$230k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training.
