TON Society is a global grassroots movement supporting the TON Community through growth systems and events. It builds engaged local communities in 9 hubs across CIS, Europe, SEA, and the Middle East, holding up to 16 events monthly. TON Society aims to develop community leaders to decentralize access to TON's assets and promote a fairer internet.
We are looking for a TON Circle Lead, our new collective whose main purpose is making TON a cultural force: in Web3, Web2, and beyond. Overall, success for this Lead role would mean not only growing our community in numbers, but also deepening new members’ engagement and attachment to TON, fostering a fervent and loyal follower base that actively participates in and evangelizes our vision and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Influencer Programs: Work closely with the Head of Growth Marketing to relaunch our existing influencer program into a new and unprecedented cultural force.
- Active, Scalable Community-Building Systems: Map spheres of influence and develop systems to recruit leading opinion makers in crypto-focused and crypto-adjacent communities to to amplify TON’s message and expand our reach.
- Analytics: Set specific, measurable targets and milestones to quantify the impact of strategic community-building efforts.
- Incentives Structures: Create recognition programs to motivate community members to actively participate in recruitment efforts from their own networks.
- Strategic Content: Work with the MarCom team to promote stories of community members and projects whose lives have been impacted by TON. Utilize symbols, logos, and exclusive language to create a devoted base of members who feel deeply connected to TON Circle’s ethos.
- Tier 1 Activations: Work directly with our highest level influencers to design, execute, and measure bespoke activations to onboard their community to TON.
- Community Engagement: Regularly disseminate content, challenges, and missions to keep the community tuned in for every word and incredibly active.
- Strategic Community Building: Onboard new members - including those with nonexistent followings to massive followings - and secure their commitment to TON.
- Public Speaking and Representation: Participate in media interviews, panel discussions, and public forums to represent TON. Deliver compelling presentations and speeches to promote the TON blockchain and its initiatives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience within the crypto industry, with roles pertaining to KOLs or marketing preferred.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- A thriving personality and the ability to lead communities.
- A track record of growing existing crypto communities. This can include L1s to NFT projects to infrastructure providers and beyond.
- Deep understanding of multiple ecosystems, including crypto, gaming, sports, and music, staying on top of emerging trends, major narratives, and key personalities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain landscape, including new trends and current market dynamics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bonus points for
- Additional language capabilities (e.g., Spanish Portuguese, Turkish, or SEA-based languages).
