About the Opportunity

As the Principal Product Manager, you will own and build OKX's industry leading crypto compliance systems and manage the roadmap to enable our legitimate customers to gain access to a wide array of crypto assets. The scope of this role includes developing compliance service solutions and platforms, integrating with KYC vendors, enabling healthy business growth while strengthening user trust.
This role will focus on empower user growth by optimizing user onboarding flows under the regulation framework across global markets. On top of essential Product Management skillset, the ideal candidate should have a strong experience in optimizing user journeys, excellent project management skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our organization maintains the highest standards of compliance. If you are an entrepreneurial product leader, who doesn't hesitate to propose bold ideas and roll up your sleeves to put them into action, this role will be a great fit for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design and implement the best-in-class user onboarding experience as the key growth engine for OKX.
  • Develop a deep understanding of crypto regulation framework for each individual market across the globe to enable sustainable user growth.
  • Build both in-house KYC solutions and work with local KYC vendors to drive up the overall pass rate
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, legal, operations, and quality assurance, to integrate compliance considerations into product planning and development processes
  • Drive strategic alignment across other teams to ensure cohesive product functionality and value proposition

What We Look For In You:
  • 5+ years of product management experience in customer-facing product domain.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - Having worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities. Ability to navigate through ambiguity to advocate for resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to translate strategy into clear and actionable plans for Product Development, Engineering, Design and Marketing
  • Logical thinking - Displaying logical reasoning and critical thinking to analyze and evaluate complex problems and situations
  • High proficiency delving into the technical product, system and implementation details. Able to engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs; willing to roll up sleeves and design scalable and extensible solutions
  • Data oriented - identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon impact metrics. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies and constraints in a highly dynamic environment

  • Experience designing and building compliance KYC system or other compliance systems (sanction screening system, compliance supervision services, compliance transaction monitoring, etc.)
