Job Description
Block is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join the Executive Operations team, helping our top executives and supporting their teams. Our Executive Assistants are the strategic partners who hold everything together - from calendaring and travel, to reporting processes and team support, you will participate in efforts to support Block and its initiatives. The Block Executive Operations Team is a centralized organization where our EAs report into EA Managers. We are looking for an EA who has a natural passion for learning and people development, enjoys taking on new tasks and projects, and who excels at being mindful of communication and details in an energetic, fast-paced and human-centric environment.
You Will
- Provide administrative support to 2-3 Cash Compliance Leads, maintaining complex calendars, requiring coordination with executives, partners, and EAs
- Be your executives' right hand by attending important meetings, taking notes, being an active participant and knowledgeable resource, while ensuring executive preparation and effectiveness
- Identify gaps by prioritizing and taking ownership of projects; help compile and prepare material and agendas for team meetings, such as all-hands presentations and events
- Develop an understanding of the team and field requests from all contacts, making a point to be available and approachable, demonstrating composure and flexibility, regardless of competing priorities
- Foster relationships with several partners to help support Compliance programs and goals
- Find new and efficient ways to create processes to help maximize your executives' time, including weekly reporting, goal-tracking, and team meetings
- Work within our centralized Executive Operations team to provide support, mentorship, and guidance to enhance the team as a whole.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Business Partner, or similar role
- Strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to connect distributed teams in a remote environment
- Background in managing multiple teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones, in a remote working environment
- Proficient using Google Suite and Apple products
