Phala is looking for a Community Manager to support our global communities through our online presence with social media and chat platforms (Discord, Reddit and Telegram). And help expand Phala’s global ecosystem with ambassadors.

Community Managers will be representing Phala and should be knowledgeable about the blockchain in order to best support and create content for our communities with accuracy and passion. And better have some background of computer science, know mining&TEE/cloud industry.

The ideal Community Manager has exceptional written communication skills with the mindset for helping others. They have the ability to develop engaging and unique content to excite existing miners and inspire new miners to our platforms.

Ultimately, you will act as the face and voice of our brand and the management of all community communication.

Our ideal CM has a very good link to the community, can solve problems independently, and creates a vibrant community atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for phala's community growth and activity.
  • Manage and Grow Phala global communities. We need your growth strategy based on data-driven analysis.
  • Moderate Phala forums, social platforms and chat groups and interact with the community to increase positive engagement (Discord, Reddit and Telegram).
  • Explore new community friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion of Phala local userbase and influence.
  • Assist in organizing online and offline events and meet-ups, especially community call, etc.
  • Assist with Phala ambassadors’ recruitment and bonding.
  • Help with translations and proofread content.
  • Share market feedback and user suggestions with relevant functional teams in Phala marketing&op team.
  • Stay informed on trends in digital technology and the crypto space.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in community management
  • Proven community management experience with strong ownership and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter).
  • Familiarity with online platforms such as Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Medium, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain related terminologies and trends and have a liking for crypto cultures.
  • Be able to work flexible and stretched hours to interact with the crypto community as frequently as possible.
  • Native or near native level in English
  • Hardware mining experience such as Filecoin, Swarm is preferred
  • Knowledge of other minor languages is preferred
