About Polygon Labs
Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Agglayer CDK, Polygon PoS & Katana.
Your Role
As the Head of Institutional Partnerships & Capital Markets at Polygon Labs, you’ll lead our institutional growth strategy, driving collaborations across global capital markets and crypto-native ecosystems.
Reporting to the Global Head of Payments and Real-World Assets (RWA), you’ll work at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to shape how major financial institutions engage with Ethereum-aligned, zero-knowledge-powered scaling solutions through the Agglayer.
You’ll help define how institutional-grade solutions are built on Polygon technology, collaborating with stakeholders ranging from asset managers and custodians to leading fintech innovators. Join us in making Polygon Labs the preferred blockchain infrastructure provider for the world’s most forward-looking institutions.
Your Responsibilities
Originate, structure, and lead strategic collaborations with banks, asset managers, custodians, exchanges, hedge funds, and fintechs.
Own a global pipeline of institutional engagement opportunities, building relationships with C-level decision-makers.
Develop and execute Polygon Labs’ institutional go-to-market strategy across real-world asset infrastructure, digital assets, and cross-border payment use cases.
Represent Polygon Labs at leading finance and web3 industry events, strengthening credibility in both traditional capital markets and blockchain sectors.
Partner with product, engineering, and RWA teams to shape institutional-grade solutions on Polygon technology.
Provide institutional insights to inform regulatory engagement strategies across key jurisdictions.
Work cross-functionally with marketing and ecosystem teams to elevate successful institutional case studies.
What You'll Need
10 - 15 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, fintech, or institutional BD roles.
Proven ability to structure and close complex, high-value collaborations with institutional players.
Deep network across traditional finance and crypto-native ecosystems.
Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure and institutional adoption trends.
Experience working in a high-growth, web3-native company is highly valued.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in global and remote settings.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with zero-knowledge or Ethereum scaling technologies.
Experience supporting policy, compliance, or regulatory initiatives with an institutional lens.
Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
Executive presence with the ability to represent Polygon Labs credibly in both finance and blockchain circles.
