Head of Capital Markets (DeFi / Web3)

Role: Full-time / Consultant

Location: Remote (Preferably NYC, USA or London, UK)

About Qiro Finance

Qiro Finance is building the next-generation private credit marketplace on-chain - connecting stablecoin investors and DeFi liquidity providers with global fintechs. Our mission is to merge the scalability, transparency, and programmability of DeFi capital markets with the rigor of structured finance to unlock institutional-grade private credit.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Capital Markets who lives at the intersection of DeFi liquidity and structured credit. This role is DeFi-first: sourcing, structuring, and scaling on-chain debt capital through vaults, stablecoin flows, and tokenised credit products. At the same time, you will extend this reach to TradFi allocators - private credit funds, family offices, hedge funds, and banks - bringing them into tokenised private credit deals.

The ideal candidate already understands the landscape of stablecoin liquidity providers - from DAOs, whales, DeFi vaults, crypto funds, and protocol treasuries to institutional funds, family offices, and VCs with liquidity arms - and knows how to map these personas to the right transaction structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of on-chain capital strategies: vaults, tokenised debt instruments, and stablecoin structures.

  • Source liquidity from DeFi-native providers (DAOs, whales, crypto funds, stablecoin treasuries, web3 foundations, aggregators).

  • Build, structure, and scale cross-border tokenised debt transactions.

  • Bridge DeFi with TradFi by attracting institutional allocators (private credit funds, family offices, hedge funds, banks) into Qiro’s deals.

  • Develop innovative tokenisation models for securitisation, CLOs, ABS, and structured private credit products.

  • Leverage deep networks across DeFi and TradFi debt capital markets to capture liquidity across personas and channels.

  • Oversee transaction structuring and ensure compliant execution across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Represent Qiro with DeFi protocols, liquidity DAOs, stablecoin communities, and institutional investors globally.

Requirements
  • Strong track record of raising and structuring capital in DeFi (vaults, stablecoin liquidity, tokenised products).

  • Deep understanding of digital assets, tokenisation, DeFi/Web3 ecosystems, and stablecoin capital markets.

  • Proven ability to design and execute structured credit transactions on-chain (securitisation, CLO, ABS, CDO).

  • Familiarity with diverse liquidity personas (whales, DAOs, treasuries, VCs with liquidity arms, institutions, family offices, retail) and how to structure deals accordingly.

  • Global network across DeFi liquidity providers, DAOs, crypto funds, with additional reach into TradFi investors.

  • Experience with deal structuring and cross-border capital flows.

  • 8-12+ years combined in DeFi/Web3 and/or debt capital markets, ideally spanning both.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in fast-moving, frontier financial markets.

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to define and lead the capital markets strategy for an on-chain private credit protocol.

  • Work on cutting-edge tokenisation models bridging DeFi and TradFi.

  • Flexible, remote-first role (preferably NYC or London).

  • Competitive compensation (salary/consulting + equity/token upside).
