About the Opportunity

We are establishing a new AI organization within WOO, and we’re looking for a Senior AI Product Engineerto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the AI Technical Product Manager (TPM) and be in charge of developing the tech roadmap for our Large Language Models (LLMs) and serve as the core leader for LLM deployment in end-to-end AI products. Your expertise in LLMs, including state-of-the-art prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model integration will be crucial in building cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance WOO’s product portfolio.

As a Senior AI Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing LLM-based systems, ensuring seamless integration with our Agentic platforms and leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to orchestrate efficient AI workflows. Your full-stack experience and hands-on approach will drive the rapid prototyping of innovative AI products in an agile environment.

You will work closely with the Head of AI and the Product team to define WOO’s future AI product roadmap, in addition to collaborating with Ecosystem, Business Development, Operations, and the broader engineering entities to drive AI initiatives that aligns with our business objectives.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing, developing, and optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) from scratch or integrating major closed-source models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to power WOO’s AI product prototypes.
• Developing sophisticated prompt engineering techniques and fine-tune models to achieve desired performance and functionality tailored to specific use cases within WOO’s ecosystem.
• Conducting comprehensive performance benchmarking of various LLMs, utilizing model selection logic to choose the most effective models for different applications and ensuring optimal performance.
• Integrating LLMs into Agentic platforms, enabling intelligent agent behaviors and enhancing user interactions across WOO’s DeFi and CeFi products.
• Integrating LLMs with RAG systems to enhance the capabilities of LLMs, ensuring efficient retrieval of relevant information and improving the overall responsiveness and accuracy of AI solutions.
• Designing and managing complex AI workflows, ensuring the smooth orchestration of various AI components and processes to deliver robust and scalable AI products.
• Utilizing full-stack development skills to build and iterate on AI prototypes in an agile manner, rapidly testing and deploying new technologies to stay ahead in the competitive crypto industry.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to develop prototypes that align with business objectives and user needs in an agile development environment.

About You

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in product engineering / technical product engineering, with a strong focus on AI product development, integration, and benchmarking.
• Proven experience in delivering solid tech and execution roadmaps in close coordination with TPMs from conception to launch, including hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and agile development.
• Strong familiarity with mainstream AI development frameworks /tools while exhibiting the end-to-end capability to conduct product prototyping.

AI Expertise:

• Proficient in selecting and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) using open-source models (e.g., on Hugging Face), and closed-source models such as OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.
• Experienced in fine-tuning LLMs and using acceleration libraries to optimize model performance for specific use cases and in production environments.
• Skilled in benchmarking LLMs using industry metrics and leveraging relevant frameworks to ensure optimal model selection.
• Expertise in integrating LLMs into Agentic platforms using frameworks such as Langchain and OpenAI Swarm.
• Proficient in working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance LLM information retrieval capability and accuracy.
• Proficient with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch for developing and deploying machine learning models.

Leadership /Core Skills:

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
• “Get-it-done” mindset - the tendency to execute at light speed and comfortable to make hypothesis-driven judgements and technical decisions
• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Crypto and Trading Knowledge (Optional /Good to have):

• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including DeFi and CeFi platforms is highly desirable.
• Understanding of crypto trading mechanics and the ecosystem is highly desirable.
