The Role:

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to oversee our core exchange features and market making activities. This role will be responsible for developing and managing the key trading functionalities of our cryptocurrency exchange, as well as implementing effective market making strategies to ensure liquidity and efficient markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Day 1 (Launch Phase):

  • Define and prioritize the core features for the exchange's MVP (spot trading, basic order types)
  • Integrate the initial market making strategy to provide baseline liquidity
  • Set up user account structures, including KYC processes and wallet integrations
  • Establish key metrics for measuring exchange performance and liquidity

On-going:

  • Manage the product roadmap for trading features (spot, margin, futures)
  • Oversee the development of advanced trading tools and order types
  • Continuously improve the trading interface and overall user experience
  • Develop and refine internal market making strategies
  • Oversee the creation and improvement of market making tools and dashboards
  • Coordinate with risk management on liquidity provision and exposure limits
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations for both exchange operations and market making activities
  • Analyze trading patterns and market data to optimize exchange features and market making algorithms

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management experience in financial technology or cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and market making principles
  • Experience with order matching engines and trading algorithms
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex trading data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • We’re looking for someone with experience in Web 3.0, cryptocurrency, blockchain, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi) to support the growth and innovation of our crypto exchange platform.

Tools:

  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with trading terminals and market data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of programming concepts, particularly related to trading systems
