Monad Labs is the team building Monad, the performant and parallel EVM Layer-1 blockchain. We are a team of systems engineers and community builders who are on a mission to help crypto eat the world. After recently raising $225M in series A funding, led by Paradigm, we are growing our team. The Role We are looking for a Forward-Deployed Engineer to foster strong relationships with developers, providing them with the tools, resources, and support to thrive within the blockchain ecosystem. Previous experience with crypto is expected. This role is based in New York City. What you will do:
Foster strong relationships with developers, providing them with the tools, resources, and support to thrive within the blockchain ecosystem Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, sample code, and other resources to empower developers Engage with the developer community to gather valuable insights, identify areas for product enhancement, and solve the problems Collaborate with various teams such as engineering and ecosystem teams Provide timely and effective technical support to developers, assisting with troubleshooting, technical inquiries, and integration challenges
Requirements Technical
Basic understanding of programming languages and software development tools, for example: Solidity, TypeScript, Python, Golang or Rust Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Solutions Architect, Senior Solutions Engineer, Senior Sales Engineer), with exposure to software engineering, customer support, developer relations. Familiarity with community management platforms such as Telegram and Discord Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Fastidious attention to detail

Salary and benefits Minimum full-time salary of $190,000. (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, domain expertise, and geographic location.)
