The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in task automation, integration setup, and cloud infrastructure maintenance, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with the DevOps Lead.

Your commitment to delivering top-notch solutions and exceptional support to our internal products will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your alignment with Nethermind's vision of leading in blockchain technology, promoting innovation, and nurturing growth within the industry is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Okta for seamless identity and access management, collaborating closely with the DevOps Lead and team.
  • Foster communication across departments to ensure smooth integration deliveries, actively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular progress updates.
  • Develop and maintain tailored integrations across various platforms and technologies, continually optimizing them for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Implement and manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development workflows, working closely with development teams to ensure efficient code integration, delivery, and security.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge transfer.

Must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE Engineer role
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud experience and familiarity with configuring, scaling, tuning, and monitoring the range of services.
  • Strong experience with designing and building CICD pipelines
  • Strong experience with Infra as Code, for example, Terraform and Ansible
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience producing operational and design documentation for the things you build, and writing post-mortem docs after troubleshooting service issues.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.

Nice to have:

  • Any blockchain experience is a plus
  • Experience in setting up Okta is a plus.
