Are you passionate about building robust, scalable, and cloud-native data platforms? We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing and optimizing our modern data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

About Role

-Design and implement scalable data pipelines using BigQuery, dbt / Dataform, and Apache Airflow
-Own and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and semi-structured data
-Collaborate with analytics and product teams to deliver clean, modeled data ready for decision-making
-Ensure data quality, versioning, lineage, and governance best practices are in place
-Integrate diverse data sources including PostgreSQL, Firebase, external APIs, and real-time streams via Pub/Sub and DataStream

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
-5+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years building cloud-native- platforms on GCP
-Deep expertise in Google BigQuery: partitioning, clustering, optimization, and cost control
-Strong command of SQL, including CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning
-2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt or Google Dataform
-Solid background in data modeling (dimensional/star/snowflake schemas)
-Knowledge of incremental data loading, backfill strategies, and dependency handling
-Strong Python skills for building custom tools, operators, and automation
-Experience with Apache Airflow (self-hosted or Cloud Composer)
-Familiarity with data quality testing, schema evolution, and source-to-target mapping
-Clear understanding of data governance, including versioning and lineage tracking
