The Opportunity
As Metaplex expands its reach, we’re hiring a Social Media Manager to shape strategy, content, and be our voice on social media.
In This Role You Will
- Create engaging content across Metaplex owned channels including but not limited to: X, Instagram and email lists.
- Be our brand voice in the Solana ecosystem through thought leadership, product tweets, shitposting and yes, even engagement farming.
- Engage in real-time with the community through replies and occasional quote tweets.
- Work cross-functionally with business development, legal, and communications to keep execution tightly aligned.
- Define KPIs for social channels, track performance, and iterate on growth tactics
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in social media or content marketing, with at least 2 years of participation (formally or as a hobby) in the Solana ecosystem.
- Confidence. You never beg for attention because your demeanor draws people to listen both when you’re serious and shitposting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you can turn complex ideas into digestible content for the average reader.
- Data-driven mindset with high attention to detail.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, tight timelines, and fast paced startup culture.

Compensation and benefits: The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in the Metaplex Foundation’s token incentive plan. Final offer amount will be at the Metaplex Foundation’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
You will also be eligible to receive health, dental and vision benefits.
