The Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Full Stack Web3 Engineer to join our growing team, focused on building out the next generation platform for cross-chain payments and trading applications. You will be directly involved in the design and development of innovative solutions for Web3 challenges encountered in various applications, spanning DeFi to iGaming.
The goal is to build a platform that will allow other Web3 companies to bring their applications to market faster and with less effort. The role gives the right candidate the opportunity to help revolutionize the adoption of blockchain transactions across a variety of use-cases.
Responsibilities
Building, testing and supporting full stack applications - utilising blockchain technology
Taking on maintenance and improvements for existing live products
Working cross functionally (design, marketing, product) to help refine ideas and ship them quickly
Maintain CI/CD best practices
Knowledge share among your peers via code reviews and writing good technical documentation
Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
Bringing new ideas to the team and help shape the roadmap, Web3 is a rapidly evolving space
Looking for new tools to help simplify the stack and improve throughput
Working independently on complex problems
Solve the UX challenges that on-chain users face
Must haves
5+ years of software development experience, at least 2 years working with on-chain data
Expert in Typescript
You have worked with React for a number of years
You know how to git
Have some experience with Go - or the desire to learn
Have worked on complex microservice based distributed systems
Understanding of various transport protocols e.g. HTTP, GRPC
Experience with Kubernetes or other container based runtime environments
Proficient in modelling relational data
Have worked with NoSQL data in the past
Proficient in fine tuning databases for high performance
A good understanding of observability tooling, covering metrics, traces and logging
Ability to mentor others, regardless of experience level
Proficient in utilising cloud infrastructure provided by AWS/GCP/Azure
Worked with a variety of EVM chains and Token Standards
Familiarity with Solana
Experienced with Solidity and frameworks such as Hardhat or Foundry
Comfortable working with a high level of ambiguity in a startup-like environment
