Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing accounting function for local entities
- Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting
- Ensure compliance with national tax laws
- Assistance to the business units on financial/settlements matters
- Other ad-hoc associated tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting
- Communication with auditors
Experience and mindset
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics or related field
- A strong understanding of Brazilian tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
- Accounting /Bookkeeping knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent analytical skills and strong experience working with numbers
- Fluency in English is a must (everyday communication - oral and written)
- Efficient/ organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Team player
- Committed and with a good eye for detail
- Ability to work with tight deadlines in terms of project and regulatory reportingÂ
