Palmswap aims to build a leading on chain Perpetual DEX on Binance smart chain. With unique ideas and a strong team, our mission is to convince crypto users of decentralized perpetuals. We are a team of experienced Perpetual traders and developers working together to create new solutions for the DeFi space.
We are looking for a full-time Backend Engineer to be a core member of our Developer team, you will work closely with the developer team to design and implement the backend of Palmswap and other developments.
The backend team focuses on improving the effectiveness of the product and monitoring the system status with alerts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create detailed product and functional specifications.
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain core software and integrated services
- Design and implement indexing for smart contracts on The Graph and our customized GrpahQL service
- Monitoring and alerting for services
- Work in close circle with software and frontend engineer
- Discuss and implement strategies with financial engineers
- Design and implementations:
- Arbitrage in different platforms
- Market making bot
- Settler
- Oracle hats
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience in at least one modern programming language, including Golang, TypeScript, C++, Java, or Solidity.
- At least 2 years of professional Golang experience.
- You have extensive technical experience and have demonstrated excellence through your previous work.
- You write secure, efficient, and high-quality code
- You are a fast learner who can quickly learn new technologies.
Nice to have:
- Experience with any blockchain at the protocol level.
- Understanding of perpetual futures, options, margin trading, and derivative products
- Have experience developing blockchain applications / smart contracts.
- Typescript for the build system, utilities, and unit testing
- Very good communication skills
