*Venture Partner – DEFI *

We are looking for a DEFI Venture Partner that can source deals, connect with entrepreneurs, and support our portfolio of projects with relevant experience.

*Responsibilities: *

• Strategic identification, evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and execution of new investments
• Develop and maintain deep relationships with top VCs, CVCs, FO, and P/E to syndicate deal sourcing.
• Developing investment and impact theses, measuring results, and driving learning.
• Actively supporting portfolio companies, including board involvement where appropriate
• Creating content to communicate our investment thesis

*Qualifications: *

• Proven background as an industry strategist or venture capitalist with experience in blockchain technologies and specifically deep knowledge of DEFI
• Proven track record of sourcing, developing, negotiating and closing interesting investment opportunities
• Demonstrated track record of sourcing deals, closing term sheets, supporting projects and harvesting investments.
• Source both early-stage venture deals directly with emerging entrepreneurs as well as late-stage private deals in secondary markets.
• Strong analytical capability and a quantitative approach is appreciated.
• Technical skills either in software or finance are advantageous.
• The candidate should be a 'student of the game' of venture capital.
• Strong financial analysis & modeling skills
• Strong network within DEFI and crypto
• High level of self-discipline and self-motivation, sense of responsibility, good time management skills
• Ability to work in a remote team environment

*Location: *

The Candidate should be located in the Cayman Islands or able and willing to move to the Cayman Islands.

Traveling is an important part of our company's culture and there will be many opportunities during the year for working remotely as well and we are relatively flexible in this regard.

We also have periodic company off-sites which employees are encouraged to join where we perform sprints on specific projects.
