Opportunity
We are seeking a Growth Associate to join our Growth & Community team, focused on supporting Discord growth and community initiatives. The Growth Associate will work closely with Marketing, Design, Community, Engineering and Product to drive execution of our omni-channel campaigns. The role is responsible for server partnerships, community calls/AMAs, influencer and affiliate partnerships, and setting up other person-focused campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Executing marketing campaigns for PlaiDay, focusing on channels such as server partnerships, community calls/AMAs, influencer and affiliate partnerships, and setting up other person-focused campaigns
- Support in developing the lifecycle strategy across PlaiDay’s Discord product offering (user journey, in-product touchpoints, etc)
- Conduct GTM research as needed (user, competitor, etc)
- End-to-end support on campaigns. Through setting the strategy, creating content and supporting other marketing members, building the targeting, and measuring results
- Monitor campaign progress and work with team to analyze and optimize each campaign as needed
- Other ad hoc tasks across several different teams: Growth, Community, Product, and Engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top universityÂ
- 1+ years of professional experience preferred (Internship will be considered)
- Experience using Discord (as a member or admin) is preferred
Nice to have:
- Understanding of generative AI, specifically text-to-image or text-to-video is a plus
- Experience working for a tech start-up preferred
