About The Position
As our UI/UX Designer, you’ll develop highly creative visual designs that celebrate and support the Genopets mission. You’ll champion pixel perfection, epic quality, and immersive visual storytelling through the use of advanced UI and motion graphic techniques.
You will apply design thinking and take a broad approach to ensure interactive and experiential continuity across platforms and touch points. In this role reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll work from concept through development and collaborate with other designers, product owners, and technologists to set our approach to user interaction and experience design.
What You'll Do
  • Design wireframes, and flows based on user personas and user journeys
  • Design high fidelity, pixel perfect UI designs and prototypes ready for dev handoff.
  • Synthesize user research with business needs to inform and evaluate design concepts throughout the product development process
  • Break down interactions and experiences thoughtfully for teams to be able to ship value incrementally (i.e., Minimum delightful experiences)
  • Clearly present and communicate design ideas, vision, and strategy through visual storytelling
  • Accurately plan and estimate design work for projects
  • Collaborate across teams and channels to design large-scale product & gameplay features for players
  • Provide appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., Strategy articulation, journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes)
  • Work with leadership across the company to establish best-practices and quality standards, and champion user-centered design methodologies
What We're Looking For
  • High level of proficiency with Figma
  • Deep understanding of Atomic Design
  • A professional portfolio with examples of your past work
  • Experience in designing for consumer web platforms, mobile gaming strongly preferred
  • Experience in designing platforms for web3 decentralized finance and/or gaming platforms strongly preferred

A web3 designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs for websites that are built on the web3 platform

This platform is based on blockchain technology and allows for the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be accessed through a web browser

A web3 designer would be responsible for creating the user interface and user experience for these dApps, ensuring that they are easy to use and navigate

They would also be responsible for ensuring that the overall design of the dApps is consistent with the brand and aesthetic of the organization or individual that is building the dApps.
