What is Polygon?

The Role
As a DeFi Evangelist at Polygon, you are responsible for growing and nurturing the developer communities currently building DeFi protocols and solutions in the Polygon ecosystem. This will be a role where you will interact directly with developers, connect communities in the space for collaborations, and conduct workshops and talks at conferences in the DeFi space.
Responsibilities
- Relationship management: work with Key Builders in the DeFi ecosystem and connect them with other builders by identifying synergies between different dApps and protocols.
- Connecting projects to key resources: identify how existing protocols can improve and scale their offerings by utilizing existing services in the broader web3 space.
- Educate and advise: Work with the existing Developer Relations Engineering team to identify key ways the team can support builders in the DeFi space from a technical perspective.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in Business Development, Partner success, or Developer Relations roles.
- Basic Understanding of building Smart Contracts in the EVM space.
- Engagement and communication with developer platforms or open source communities on GitHub, StackOverflow, Reddit, Twitter, and more
Preferred Qualifications
- Great communication and technical writing skills
- Understanding of Crypto & the Blockchain Platforms
- Ability to define goals, measure results, and communicate the impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of experimenting and building dApps, especially in the DeFi space.
