About the position

Keyfactor is looking for a highly qualified and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. We are looking for someone who can work with our existing and upcoming containerized product solutions using containers and Kubernetes for both internal and external use. In addition, as part of our ambition to continually improve and innovate you will work to improve our existing development infrastructure, contribute with new ideas and be able to add new features and redesign.

Additionally, this person will assist with our Development, Q&A, Professional Services and Support teams with creating and maintaining our automated platform creation for testing, building and deploying.

The position is based in the United States and can be performed remotely when necessary. Applicants must hold US citizen or US permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions in Azure to proactively identify and address issues.
  • Manage source code repositories using Azure Repos or Git to ensure proper security, branching strategies, and enforce code versioning best practices.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools to automate software configuration and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Manage static source code and third-party library analysis tools such as Polaris by Synopsys.
  • Collaborate with software architects and engineers to ensure secure coding practices are followed and an understanding of Azure DevOps processes and systems is maintained.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance to facilitate the deployment and operation of systems.
  • Ensure all systems are on the latest versions and determine plans to upgrade when required.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and procedures related to the DevOps environment.
  • Actively analyze processes and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Desirable: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Desirable: Relevant certifications in Azure services and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
