The Role
BitMEX is heavily investing in building cutting-edge Digital Tech as part of our growth strategy. We are looking for experienced engineers to help us overhaul our public-facing assets, as well as to build out bespoke marketing tooling leveraging the latest technologies.
This involves defining and implementing infrastructure and data pipelines for measuring conversions and providing targeted user experiences, as well as working on all of our unauthenticated UX, including the blog and the homepage of bitmex.com.
As a new department, the Digital Tech team has the opportunity to work on several greenfield projects, with the ability to define our own stack based on the best available technologies, and the budget we need to find the best possible solution.
Our current stack: Typescript, NextJS, React, Express, GraphQL, Redshift, Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Ideate, build and deploy services to support our Digital and Marketing teams internally
- Integrate existing systems to enable sophisticated logging and analysis of web traffic
- Ensure the privacy of our users data is maintained by implementing novel techniques for tracking
- Develop and maintain frontend assets including the Web Frontend and Blog
Qualifications
- Experience with Typescript and frontend frameworks (ideally React)
- Experience with implementing NodeJS services (ideally with Express)
- Supported high traffic, high performance public facing web applications
- Nice to have:
- An eye for detail when it comes to UI/UX
- Marketing-specific experience, such as SEO optimization, Google Analytics etc.
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes/Container Orchestration
- Knowledge of Terraform/Infrastructure As Code
- Experience defining Apache Airflow DAGs / ETL Pipelines
- Experience with Python
