Dear Web3 geek,

always wondered how doing business in Web3 feels a like?

AlphaTurtle is the next big NFT analytics tool, built to help NFT investors grow and manage their portfolio successfully. Funded by the Berlin senate and founded by serials entrepreneurs, we’ve entered a market - which cannot be more exciting and more fast-growing.

Be ready to work with FOMO. Be ready to enter the craziest market out there. LFG.

Tasks

As an intern in the Product Development Team, you have the chance to join early on and help AlphaTurtle deliver great products users love.

We are building close to our community and are seeing direct feedback from the communities we build, which we iterate on.

We have an individual approach to build software, so most tasks will be developing scalable APIs, which will be fit-in within the whole app.

Objectives:

  • Developing close to users, participating in bug fixings, extending existing setup and rolling out new features
  • You will work primarily with Node.js, Javascript, Express, Heroku
  • Work with different freelancers helping to build software - structuring backlog and passing work
  • Take care of error handling, fixing real bugs on production

Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing your bachelors, masters, or are doing a gap year
  • You are excited about new technologies & software and are familiar with the Web3 Space itself, most importantly the connection to NFTs
  • You believe in NFTs - If you do not have a crypto wallet and have not at least tried to buy/ mint an NFT, we do not fit.
  • You proactively make things happen and want to change the way finance teams operate for the better
  • Full working proficiency in English, German language skills are a plus
  • You can deal with stress and sometimes with high-pressure situations

Benefits

Startup + Web3? Somebody calling it the complete chaos, we call it, the perfect fit.

The market, as well as our small startup are highly flexible and vital.
Pressure is high, motivation is higher, learning curve the highest.

In terms of "compensation" we can offer you:

  • Basic salary
  • Profit sharing while you are working for us
  • Free lifetime access pass for our software

We are looking for passionate Web3 people in first place!

If you are familiar with the market and understand and "live" the "Web3 mentality", we will be happy to welcome you to our team!

How do I start a Web3 career?

If you're interested in starting a career in Web3, here are a few steps you can take:

  1. First, it's important to gain a solid understanding of the underlying technologies that make up the Web3 ecosystem, such as blockchain, cryptography, and decentralized networks. You can do this by reading books and articles, taking online courses, or attending workshops and conferences.
  2. Next, you'll want to build a portfolio of projects that showcase your skills and knowledge. This can include creating dApps (decentralized applications) using blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, contributing to open-source projects, or writing articles and tutorials on Web3-related topics.
  3. Networking is also an important part of any career, and the Web3 space is no exception. Attend meetups and conferences, join online communities, and make connections with other professionals in the field. This can help you learn from others, share your own expertise, and potentially find job opportunities.
  4. Finally, consider getting certified in Web3 technologies. There are several organizations that offer certification programs, which can help demonstrate your proficiency and set you apart from other candidates in the job market.
