At Ripple we are transforming the world of finance with innovative crypto solutions that make money move as fast as information moves today. We’re looking for a product designer who has a portfolio with strong visual design and a focus on craft, as well as a critical eye for detail and a desire to learn. As a Product Design Systems intern, you’ll be collaborating with the broader Ripple design team and their partners on a variety of challenging and exciting projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support the design and extension of the Ripple Product Design System (RPDS).
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across product, engineering, and brand design to define product design systems solutions for our products
- Create and document components for RPDS
- Partner with other product designers to design new product features and enhancements
- Express design capabilities in diverse ways with brand, interactive, motion, etc.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Portfolio of work featuring strong product, brand, interactive and typographic designs
- Good communicator and team player; a desire and eagerness to learn from and share with others
- High energy and positive can-do attitude
- Effective time management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of typography and grid systems
- Proficient in Figma
- 1-2 years of work experience or previous internship experience a plus
Bonus Points
- FinTech experience, specifically on payments
- A passion for crypto and blockchain technology
- Knowledge with motion graphics and animation
- Knowledge with Web technologies (e.g. HTML/CSS, Javascript)
