About Arbitrum Foundation

The Arbitrum Foundation is dedicated to scaling Ethereum through cutting-edge Layer 2 solutions. Our flagship product, Arbitrum One, an Optimistic Rollup, enables faster, more affordable transactions while maintaining Ethereum’s security and decentralization. We empower developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) that are both scalable and secure, using Arbitrum chains, which offer flexibility in performance and cost. Our mission is to enhance the Ethereum ecosystem and drive the adoption of Web3 technology by delivering high-performance, open-source blockchain solutions. Arbitrum is already the leading Ethereum scaling solution with hundreds of dApps on the platform and over $13bn TVL.

At the Arbitrum Foundation, we value decentralization, innovation, and community. We are committed to shaping the future of decentralized finance and blockchain technology, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to help us build the next generation of the Web.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and coordinated project operations between the Arbitrum Foundation, the ArbitrumDAO, and other key stakeholders in the Arbitrum ecosystem. Your responsibilities will span various areas, from day-to-day interaction with members of the ArbitrumDAO, operational support, to project management, enabling the Arbitrum Foundation to support proposals approved by the ArbitrumDAO.

Key Responsibilities

    • Track progress of work performed by the Arbitrum Foundation in relation to services requested by the ArbitrumDAO.
    • As part of the Arbitrum Foundation’s Governance Team, collaborate with other team members and the DAO community to optimize processes.
    • Represent the Arbitrum Foundation and facilitate stakeholder discussions and gov calls.
    • Work with the Arbitrum Foundation’s community team to amplify governance discussions and proposals to delegates, ensuring awareness.
    • Promote community engagement and participation for DAO-related activities.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of governance proposals, discussions, votes and decisions.
    • Help the legal team with processes in relation to grant agreements, legal contracts and compliance tasks.

Qualifications

    • Prior experience in coordinating operations for a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) or similar roles in the blockchain industry,
    • A good understanding of blockchain technology, Ethereum, and Layer 2 scaling solutions (familiarity with Arbitrum is a plus),
    • Strong organisational and project management skills with high attention to detail,
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for community engagement and coordination,
    • Ability to work independently, set goals, multi-task, and adapt quickly in a dynamic remote work environment.
