Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web3 Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to the development of our smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure, and play a crucial role in improving the overall user experience for crypto exchanges, and payment providers. Your work will directly impact the security, efficiency, and user satisfaction of our platform built on the Ethereum Blockchain.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Web3 Developer who is passionate about creating high-quality and secure smart contracts, whilst delivering outstanding user experiences utilising other web3 integrations such as Fireblocks, alchemy and exchange solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Integrate web3 providers and services into our platforms, utilising The Graph, Fireblocks, Alchemy, ethers.js, and common SDKs
• Optimise and build our smart contracts, whilst ensuring they’re secure, scalable and interoperable.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly those relevant to DeFi and anything surrounding the Web3 space.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of development experience with Solidity programming.
• Familiar with utilising Smart Contract frameworks, such as Hardhat, Truffle Suite or Foundry
• Experience building in DeFi is desirable
• Having an understanding of SOLID principles
• Ability to optimise our smart contracts to reduce gas costs during runtime and deployment
• Understanding of common smart contract attack vectors and vulnerabilities
• Self-sufficient in the ability to mitigate and reduce the likelihood of vulnerabilities occuring in the future

Desirable / Advantageous, not required:

• Worked with GraphQl and built Subgraphs
• Experience building in DeFi
• Open source contributions to notable projects - Colourful GitHub
• Any evidence of web3 course completion such as Alchemy’s University
• Participation in any hackathons, GitCoin, Code4rena, Immunefi, Sherlock
